As a Business Systems Analyst III (BI Developer & Data Analyst), the incumbent will determine systems requirements and technology selection, performing complex data analysis to meet data management objectives. This position provides guidance to lower-level staff and serves as a subject matter expert.Responsibilities:Developing and optimizing advanced SQL and other database queries to extract and analyze specific datasets.Designing custom reports and dashboards using BI tools like Power BI.Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring data quality.Troubleshooting data-related issues and enforcing data governance policies.Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and present findings.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or 3 years of professional experience related to data analysis.Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Knowledge of data integration methods.Understanding of data quality assurance and data governance.Preferred Qualifications:Proven ability to develop and implement data integration strategies.Experience in resolving data processing and reporting performance issues.Extensive experience in designing and implementing automated reporting solutions.Advanced analytical skills for defining KPIs.Excellent communication skills.Experience in higher education, particularly with student data.Target Salary Range:
