Summary:The Business Systems Analyst - Senior is an ISS Department position. This position is intended to serve as a career path option for highly skilled Business Analysts who do not have direct supervisory responsibility, but lead/participate in projects of a significant nature.Duties and Responsibilities:Work within an AGILE SCRUM team of T-Shaped resources to deliver solutions in support of our enterprise data strategy.Forward thinking mindset, with the ability to problem solve and inspire others to deliver solutions.Define and execute tactical enhancements based on business needs and overall data quality and management strategy.Delights in making an impact by partnering with others to provide innovative solutions for metadata management.Partner with SDOs to support the implementation of metadata management solution based on business needs.Ensure compliance with data and information security policies.Responsible for maintaining quality and integrity of the metadata tools.Manage metadata repository containing business terms, critical data elements, and technical metadata.Develop processes to enable ongoing stewardship of metadata, lineage, and data analytics.Support projects to evolve our master and reference data repositories.Support project teams with identification of master and reference data tools and their implementation.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree5+ years of related experience3+ years of Agile Development with SCRUM techniques3+ years Metadata Ontology and/or Data Model Framework backgroundPreferred Qualifications:5+ years of previous experience in application management for solutions supporting data lineage, data quality, and reference data management software. A preference for Rocket Software, Anomalo, or Profisee experience but similar backgrounds will be assessed.Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL frameworksExperience with Data Lineage Automation and Stitching processesUnderstanding of configuring ASG connections e.g., DB2, Oracle, SQL Server & HadoopEffective communication and collaboration skills with IT and business partnersPassion for details and consistencyKnowledge of banking operationsSQLJAVAXMLJSONObject-oriented concepts and patternsExempt Status:
