The Life sciences software solutions architect collaborates with global life sciences clients to provide strategic, solution and architectural directions on software driven transformation and software product modernization with emerging technology stack. The solution architect’s priority is to work on client solutions which are a persuasive representation of Capgemini technical ability, expertise on developing products & services, with focus on value associated with software driven transformation for Medtech and Pharma clients. The role involves active coordination across sales and practice teams and demands outstanding inter-personal skills, strong technical skills, knowledge in Life sciences domain (Medtech/Pharma/Health tech) in product engineering.Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our clients to assess their immediate, short term and long-term requirements to meet their business goals and product roadmaps.Discover innovative client solutions through consultative selling approach and enable new customer opportunities.Develop and promote proactive solution led, value propositions for our clients, by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.Showcase deep understanding of end customer’s objectives, business goals and requirements to better align our software product engineering and transformation capabilities to provide tangible business value.Engage with the global engagement and delivery teams to ensure effective hand-off to the post-sale technical team to deliver the solution to the customers.Mentor global architects/delivery teams on solution architect’s best practices.Travel up to 30%.Required Skills:
10+ years of experience in software engineering, with client facing experience in a solutions architecture, technical consulting, or presales engineering role.Experience working with Medical devices/ Pharma/ Health Tech R&D teams, building cloud-native, event-driven digital health or clinical applications at scale.Knowledge of distributed computing and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, etc.) to build large scale solutions with the latest generation of technologies.Experience with solution selling and quantification of business value to Life sciences customers.Design, develop and deliver industry and customer value propositions as it relates to software transformation in Life sciences.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology.Life at Capgemini:
