Systems Engineer (SubTM)

Rite-Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking skilled and motivated candidates for a Full-time System Administrator position to support on-site at Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT. You will serve as part of an integrated team supporting and maintaining submarine simulators, support trainer usage for Navy's requirements of fleet readiness, as well as generate daily reports and provide briefings to Navy and Government personnel. The hours will primarily be second shift (1300-21:30) but may shift during stand down, as well as occasional weekend hours.

Required Skillset:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Linux (RedHat, Linux/CentOS) and Windows-based systems.

Experience with PC/Intel Servers, Networks, Clusters, Active Directory, and peripherals.

Ability to install and troubleshoot hardware and software.

Ability to install system updates and patches, switch configurations, and build and maintain user profiles.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds comfortably.

Ability to read and interpret networking schematics and associated diagrams.

U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Education and Preferred Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience with BS degree; 3 years of experience with AS degree; 5+ years with high school or equivalent with directly relevant experience.

Network + /Linux +/security + certification.

Additional Skills of Interest (not required):

Active Department of Defense secret clearance.

Navy experience.
