You will be responsible for providing expert guidance, developing innovative solutions, and leading projects to ensure the successful implementation and utilization of modeling and simulation techniques across various domains.Description
Responsibilities:Subject Matter Expertise : Serve as the primary point of contact for all modeling and simulation-related inquiries, providing expert guidance and advice to stakeholders across the organization.Model Development : Design, develop, and validate complex models and simulations to replicate real-world scenarios and systems accurately.Simulation Analysis : Conduct in-depth analysis and interpretation of simulation results to derive actionable insights and inform decision-making processes.Technology Evaluation : Stay abreast of the latest advancements in modeling and simulation technologies, evaluating their potential applications and recommending relevant tools and methodologies to enhance organizational capabilities.Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate modeling and simulation solutions into broader projects, and effectively communicate technical concepts and findings to diverse audiences.Quality Assurance : Ensure the quality and reliability of modeling and simulation outputs through rigorous testing, validation, and verification processes.Project Leadership : Lead modeling and simulation projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.Qualifications:Education : Bachelors in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline. Masters Preferred.Experience : A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in modeling and simulation, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex models and simulations in diverse domains.Technical Skills:Experience with AFSIM.Proficiency in modeling and simulation software packages such as MATLAB, Simulink, AnyLogic, Arena, or similar tools.Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, Java, or others commonly used in simulation development.Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools for data visualization.Experience with parallel computing, high-performance computing (HPC), or distributed computing environments is desirable.Clearance:
