We’re searching for an experienced data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including reporting, visualization, and diagnostic data analysis. You dissect complex data sets, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights that can drive business decisions. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Data and will have a close working relationship with the teams that work most closely with our partners: strategic account management, operations, onboarding, finance, and business development teams. You will work with senior leaders across the company to drive action based on your insights.Responsibilities
Build user-friendly, actionable, scalable dashboards and data products to inform internal teams and external partners.Become the subject matter expert on our data and models - from collection, through modeling, to reporting and analysis.Work with large datasets to investigate key business trends, performance, issues, behaviors, and metrics and present compelling narratives to explain results to the team.Dig deep into the data when discrepancies arise to uncover the cause and identify and design robust processes and tools to prevent discrepancies from arising.Work directly with stakeholder teams on strategically important projects to guide decision-making and inspire action.Be a trusted partner to the stakeholder teams on how to better leverage data to drive results.Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience in a data analytics role with at least 5 years of experience.Expertise in building user-friendly dashboards in one or more modern business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.).Strong experience in data analytics tools such as Looker, dbt, and SQL.Experience with: Redshift/Snowflake, Hex (collaborative workspace for data science and analytics), AWS.Knowledge of: Data diagnosis and predictive data analysis.Track record of performing complex data analysis and telling compelling data-driven stories.Experience framing business questions with data and translating business needs into processes, analyses, reports, and datasets.Highly collaborative, with a strong preference for working with many different teams.Retail and/or Ecommerce experience is highly desirable.About Improving
