About the job:
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
In this role, you have experience with data center design, development, construction and commissioning projects. You will provide management of large-scale data centers, computer farms, networking, Alternating Current (AC) and Direct Current (DC) power distribution/conversion, and cooling methods at multiple scales. You will be coordinating with multiple partner teams, while managing changes and maintaining a focus on keeping the project on schedule and budget.
You will have experience managing large scale technical projects in a rapidly changing industry, ability to thrive in ambiguity and demonstrated problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.
Responsibilities:
Manage data center projects from inception through to completion.
Support special research and development experiments, renovations, and upgrades of existing facility.
Responsible for gathering internal requirements and delivering solutions that satisfy customer needs.
Maintain responsibility from construction to deployment.
Resolve critical issues within the organization while maintaining adherence to project timelines and costs.
Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
