Asset & Wealth Management Engineering

How you will fulfill your potential

As a full stack engineer within Private Bank engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting key lending and deposit taking platforms leveraged by Private Bank clients. Responsibilities include digitizing complex workflows, advancing these highly-available distributed systems, with focuses on availability, resiliency, performance and advanced monitoring with governance.

Application SDLC, deployment and runtime management with a goal of reducing product cycle time

Infrastructure Services – proxies, load balancing, cloud integration

Risk Management – Resiliency design & planning, collection and analysis of availability metrics

Skills and Experience we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering Field

Strong full-stack developer

3+ years of Java, Python and other programming languages with experience in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and testing best practices

Prefer experience with React, Java Spring, middleware and asynchronous processing

Experience with building applications in low code platform(s) and integrating with on-prem services

Knowledge in one or more SQL dialects

1+ year(s) contributing or leading design decisions, optimizing performance and risk mitigation

Self-motivated with analytical mindset who can multi-task to solve interesting and difficult technical problems under time pressure and resource constraints

Experience in delivering high quality technical solutions to multiple global stakeholders in a fast paced environment and managing junior developers

Effectively partner with external teams to ensure we meet our goals for system integration, application deployment, feed management and reporting

Ensure systems can scale to handle increasing business volumes, optimize performance and throughput. Good understanding of distributed systems

Experience with all stages of the development lifecycle: inception, analysis, design, review, testing, and deployment

Experience building and sustaining long-term relationships with clients and colleagues in a diverse global organization

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Salary RangeThe expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $115000-$180000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
