Our client makes it easy to follow the law by reducing the manual effort needed for privacy rights fulfillment, and by providing first-class proprietary reporting tools to validate compliance practices.About the RoleYou will work directly with customers to understand their greatest privacy problems and design and implement solutions using our client’s Data and AI Governance platform. Our client’s platform can be hosted on their cloud or the customer’s own infrastructure, but in either case you will help the engineering team deploy, configure, and integrate our client’s solution into the customer’s applications and data pipelines.This kind of post-sales implementation role has many different titles in the industry: “Implementations Engineer”, “Solutions Architect”, “Customer Engineer”, or many others, and your official title will be Forward Deployed Privacy Engineer (FDPE), as your clients expect you to be their technical and privacy subject matter expert.If you believe in the importance of trust and have the technical and problem-solving skills to dive into an unknown stack and find solutions, being an FDPE is the perfect opportunity for you to join a startup and make an impact on some of the most important companies on Earth.Responsibilities:Ensure enterprise customers successfully implement our client’s platform by providing high-quality privacy engineering consulting, training, troubleshooting, and supportServe as the technical partner to our client’s Deployment Strategists and meet regularly with customers to execute on project plansCollaborate with customers to design joint solution architecture to integrate our client’s platform into their applications and data pipelinesProvide client support and help troubleshoot complex issues quickly and thoroughlyConduct client training sessions as a subject matter expert on privacy use cases such as data mapping, data subject rights automation, consent management, and moreCollect insightful product feedback and collaborate with our client’s product engineering teams to fix issues and design new featuresEnsure high-quality standards for documentation, code, training materials, etc.Requirements:3+ years of relevant, post-college work experienceExperience in a client-facing role, such as consulting, program or product managementFamiliar with a variety of modern web technologies such as APIs, databases, server applications, frontend applications, containers, and cloud platformsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and a love for documentation and collaborationExceptional time, task, and resource management skills across multiple projects and clientsExpertise with testing and troubleshooting tools for APIs, databases, web apps, etc.Some proficiency with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, or othersExperienced working in an asynchronous environment like an open-source project or distributed teamWillingness to continue building skills through educational opportunitiesBenefits:Competitive Salary + OTE + Equity100% medical and dental insurance coverage for you and your dependent(s)Remote-first office hours and vacation policySponsored company lunches and eventsParental leave and 401K planTo Apply:Apply below or email us your resume at
