IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.Purpose of the Position
The IT Technical Leader role will be responsible for working with business leaders and users as well as IT resources to define, develop, implement and support standardized Camstar/PAC MES solutions across a global environment.Day to Day Responsibilities
Provide first and second line technical support to users and developers:24x7 support and responseIdentification and response to system/solution issuesPerform environment maintenance and related customer communicationsSystem monitoring and recoveryPerform routine operational monitoringMonitor server performance and initiate action when appropriatePerform root cause analysisPerform deployments and migrations facilitationMaintain the development environmentEnsure that MES work is completed on schedule and that impacts to manufacturing systems are thoroughly documented and communicated.Build, implement and support Camstar systems in accordance to standard Corning IT practices.Develop IMS applications using various technical capabilities like Camstar modeling, .Net, AJAX, T-SQL, Etc…Design and implement applications using various components of Camstar.Education and Skill Requirements
BS in Computer Science /Systems Management/IT Related fieldExposure to Manufacturing Execution SystemsExperience using programming languagesExperience working with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environmentExperience with source code management systemsExperience with relational databasesStrong communication, presentation, organizational, facilitation and negotiation skills (including ability to “translate” between business and technology needs).Ability to continuously prioritize and multitask efficiently.This position does not support immigration sponsorship.The range for this position is $74,625.00 - $102,610.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
