HR provides service offerings that align solutions to business challenges by ensuring the programs are Effective, Efficient, Global, Scaleable, and Repeatable.The Data Governance HR Director will collaborate with the Enterprise Data Office and the HR function to develop and implement data governance and management strategies to optimize data usage, quality & security. This role will also ensure HR data is structured in a manner that supports the Enterprise Data Management Operating Model while also supporting People Analytics needs, including end user visualization & storytelling to drive actionable insights.Key Responsibilities

Establishing and enforcing data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations and Corning standards.Enforcing enterprise data policies and standards within the HR processes.Collaborating with People Analytics and cross-functional data owners to map and integrate data sources for improved business insights.Driving business process changes to align to data policy.Establishing data quality standards, metrics, & operational mechanisms to ensure the consistency of all HR-related data.Developing operational mechanisms to ensure all HR-related data is properly classified, curated & accessible.Providing data-related support and guidance to stakeholders, helping them to make data-driven decisions.Developing & implementing mechanisms to improve data literacy within the HR function.Developing and maintaining business reviews to ensure the effective utilization of HR metrics to drive insights and actions.Facilitating and sharing data knowledge and best practices across the organization to drive improved business insights through the combination of data from different domains.Collaborating with HR partners to ensure our data models support critical business and corporate needs while adhering to established standards.Staying updated with the latest data trends and technologies and recommending new initiatives as appropriate.Experiences/Education - Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.12 years of experience in data management, including data governance, data quality, and data analytics, preferably in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of HR data governance principles, data management tools, and database systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner.Strong leadership and team management skills.Knowledge of relevant data privacy and security regulations.Master’s degree in related area and/or HR certifications.Successful track record of performance in a COE Manager/Supervisor Role.Work experience supporting multiple divisions / entities.Successful track record in the design, development and deployment of global HR processes or programs.Work experience (assignment or rotation) in an international HR role.Six Sigma experience / PE Greenbelt certification.Successful track record in creating an inclusive, positive work environment.Able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.Location and Travel Requirements

Remote in US only.This position does not support immigration sponsorship.The range for this position is $172,964.00 - $237,826.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
