What you’ll do as a Data EngineerDesign, develop, and maintain packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses or data martsIntegrate data from multiple sources, including relational databases, flat files, APIs, and other data repositoriesOptimize package performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high data processing efficiencyImplement data validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the ETL processWork closely with data architects, database administrators, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and develop data integration solutions that meet business needsCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL packages, data workflows, and integration processesConduct thorough testing and debugging of ETL packages to identify and resolve any issues or errorsProvide support and troubleshooting for production ETL processes and resolve data-related issues as they arise
What you’ll needTo be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role with a strong focus on ETLExpertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)Proficiency in developing SQL and T-SQLExperience with data warehousing concepts and scheduled ETL processesFamiliarity with other data integration tools and technologies is a plusExperience with ERP data integration concepts is a plusAWS Glue, Athena is considered a plus but not requiredAdditional qualificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issuesE xcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentationStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
