Responsibilities
Conduct thorough adversary research and actively participate in planning, EXDIV, conferences, studies, and other activities to ensure that ADFOR perspectives are incorporated and represented in experimentation planning for the Marine Corps Warfighting (MCWL) Laboratory.Verify that an adversary perspective and capabilities are consistently considered throughout the entire course of experiment or event planning.Conduct comprehensive threat analysis and assessments to support training on emergent and re-emergent threats, ranging from open source unclassified to classified Secret and possibly up to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).Perform global, regional, and country threat assessments with a specific focus on near-peer threats (China, Russia) and 2+3 threats (North Korea, Iran, and Violent Extremist Organizations).Address various threat areas, including Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Counter-UAS (C-UAS) capabilities, Cyber-Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA), Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threats, Insider Threats, Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and ballistic threats in the Maritime Domain.Interact and collaborate with DoD interagency partners, such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ), to foster information exchange and cooperation.Required Qualifications
Extensive experience in conducting adversary research, planning, wargames, and threat analysis in a related field.Strong knowledge and understanding of emergent and re-emergent threats, ranging from open source unclassified to classified Secret and potentially up to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).Proven expertise in global, regional, and country threat assessment and analysis, with a focus on near-peer threats (China, Russia) and 2+3 threats (North Korea, Iran, and Violent Extremist Organizations).In-depth understanding of various threat areas, including IEDs, UAS and C-UAS capabilities, CEMA, CBRN threats, Insider Threats, WMD, AI, and ballistic threats.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with DoD interagency partners and other stakeholders.Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, innovation, and dedication in a team-oriented environment.Active TS with SCI Eligibility is required for this position, which is located near Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCB Quantico) in a secure commercial office building. Travel in support of the customer requirements may be up to 25% of the contract hours to planning conferences, symposiums, Industry/Academia events, and/or military exercises throughout CONUS and/or OCONUS.Desired Qualifications
