Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations. As a member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (ART) of the Missile Defense National Team, this position will participate in software design and peer reviews, develop test specifications and infrastructure, execute manual and automated tests, and perform analysis of C2BMC implementation.
Essential Functions:
Possess knowledge and limited experience in testing and evaluating a software-intensive system in various test environments utilizing Agile development.
Requires a strong, self-starting individual capable of diving into problems with assistance from other test engineers and software developers.
Occasional travel between Colorado Springs facilities/sites and Huntsville, AL, is expected.
Basic Qualifications:
An active Secret clearance is required to start.
2 years' experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field; 0 years' experience with a master’s degree in the same fields.
Test knowledge and experience.
Knowledge of an Agile development process.
Automated testing for requirement verification and performance assessment.
Conducting post-processing and analysis of collected data.
Documenting software deficiency reports.
Must possess strong verbal/written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
DoD 8140 certification at
IAT Level II or higher
is highly desired.
Knowledge in a DevSecOps environment is extremely desirable.

Salary Range:
$79,300 - $118,900. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers.
