About the RoleWe have an opportunity for an experienced and talented
Cyber Security Resilience Lead
to focus on enhancing Metro Trains Sydney’s ability to prepare, withstand and recover from cyber security attacks and incidents.The role will be involved in planning, reviewing and updating of incident response, business continuity, cyber security desktop exercises, and playbooks.This is a
fixed term
opportunity for
12 months .Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):Champion the Cyber Security Incident Response Plan. Test and measure effectiveness of plan. Look for ways to continuously improve the plan.Champion the Business Continuity plan. Test and measure effectiveness of plan. Look for ways to continuously improve the plan.Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and effective response to security incidents.Lead and coordinate incident response activities, including triaging, investigating, containing, eradicating, and recovering from security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.Triage, classify, assess and trigger workflows on alerts generated from CSOC system.Run risk assessment and action plans for cyber security alerts and issues.Engage incident response teams to effectively manage any cyber security incidents.Partner with key staff in MTS to educate and build a culture of cyber resilience.Contribute in SMA led cyber security desktop exercises.About YouThis is a fast-paced role that requires a proactive and self-motivated individual. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, threat intelligence, detection engineering, incident management, and forensics.You have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff (verbal and written), including the ability to provide authoritative advice and to manage positive relationships, influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.You will also possess the following:Tertiary qualification in Cyber Security or related discipline
ORProfessional experience and/or qualification deemed to be equivalentStrong experience in managing cyber security incident response, SOC and BCPStrong experience managing and developing cyber security playbooksDemonstrated experience in incident response protocolsExperience working in operational technology (OT) systemsExtensive experience supporting technology platforms for mission critical systems which operate 24x7x365What’s on OfferWe are offering a
