If you are a DevOps engineer looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! The position is based in our Round Rock, TX office. You will help lead the design, development, and maintenance of the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Emerson provides state of the art software for top tier life science manufacturers around the world.IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:Coordinate the integration of new and existing Life Sciences applications into the SaaS platform by bridging between the application development team and the cloud platform team.Support application and platform teams by communicating platform and application requirements, technical limitations, etc.Ensure that the deployment platforms meet the unique requirements of the Life Sciences industry (e.g. GMP, CFR 21 Part 11, etc.)Collaborate with development, platform teams and cybersecurity personnel to ensure development work meets CSA STAR, SOC2 and ISO 27001 certifications.Coordinate across multiple development teams to identify, document, and implement Life Science application solutions for SaaS, self-hosted and on-premise.Expand our internal developer platform with the goal to improve our developers productivity and ensure business continuity and disaster recovery.Write and maintain automation code to continue building our CI (dev teams)/CD pipeline and ensure a constantly release-ready product.Review cloud resources costing reports and drive actions for optimal use of resources.

You partner with others to get work done.FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.5 years of experience with DevOps practices and tools.Experience in the release of multi-version products.Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Experience with Git/Pipelines.Experience in Life Sciences Industry or Manufacturing Execution Systems.Experience with SAFe agile or any other Agile Frameworks in an Azure DevOps environment.Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.Experience with Visual Studio for Development Environment.Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes to build containerized applications.Ability to develop source code.OUR OFFER TO YOU:Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option:
