ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking a motivated and talented mid-level
Test and Integration Engineer
to support the testing and integration of cloud-based SIGINT microservices. Join our team in Aurora, CO or Melbourne, FL and contribute to the mission of our Intelligence Community customer while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies.
What you'll do:
Handle all test design and development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based software components for a highly available/resilient application.
Work with the Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders internal and external to understand requirements and design and implement test plans and cases to verify new and prototype capabilities in an environment based on a fast-paced Agile methodology for complex electronic data processing systems.
Create automated testing using a Cucumber implementation where possible and integrate these into the automated CI/CD pipeline.
Utilize CI/CD tools (i.e. GitLab, GitLab Pipelines) to continuously build, test, and integrate then promote the resulting software builds.
Includes promoting the builds from each Env DEV -> Integration -> TEST -> PROD x 4+.
Follow process as outlined by the Integrator.
Be part of the approval process for builds.
Work with Developers during the Sprints to ensure test plans and tests are updated as features are updated.
Update User Guide Documentation.
Generate user documentation where needed.
Work with Software Engineers to update user documentation on an ongoing basis.
Interface with project managers and customers on a regular basis, which will require excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other STEM-related degree with a minimum of five (5) years of professional software engineering experience. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
Demonstrated development of automated testing.
Fundamental test engineering life-cycle experience; analysis, design, build with automated integration and testing, deployment, and integration.
Top Secret/SCI clearance (active/current).
Desired Qualifications:
Security+ Certification.
Experience testing and integrating systems built with:
GitLab (Pipelines, Automated CI/CD, SonarQube, SAST, Code Scanning, NexusIQ, Dependency Scanning), ArgoCD.
Kubernetes (RKE/RKE2), Docker, Container Registries and deployment orchestrators such as Helm.
AWS (S3, EC2, Load Balancers).
Java (Spring Boot, Spring Framework, MVC/RESTful APIs, AWS SDK, Java 17, JUnit 5, Mockito).
WebApp Frameworks (Angular, React).
Document Database Systems such as MongoDB.
PKI Authentication / Certificates, Keycloak, OIDC / oAuth.
Messaging Platforms (i.e. RabbitMQ or other).
Observability (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Alert Managers), Cucumber / Selenium.
Atlassian Tool Suite.
Experience with Agile methodology to include Scrum.
Innovative thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to maintain knowledge of industry trends and standards.
Ability to enhance and support a software application (government or commercial) deployed to production user.

Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
