to support MQ-9 (Reaper) Simulation for the Joint System Integration Lab (JSIL) to support Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE) in
Huntsville, AL.Primary Responsibilities:Requirements analysis, design, software development and testingDesign and develop MQ-9 MUSE software application in an agile scrum environmentWork with multiple contractors and team partners to continuously deliver value to our customersReview, verify, and validate system specifications and other design-related documentationSupport architectural design and analyze customer requirementsSoftware development implementing detailed object-oriented analysis and designSupport unit and integration test cases for inclusion in the Continuous Integration/Deployment pipelineWork with other teams/team members to resolve technical issues that may arise during development and testingQualificationsRequired Education and Experience:BS degree and two (2) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degreeClearance Requirements:Must possess a Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain one; US Citizenship required.Required Skills:Strong Object-Oriented Programming and Design (OOP/OOD) experienceStrong ability to analytically think and work through new and difficult problemsWorking knowledge of agile methodology and common scrum practicesStrong background in mathematics and computer scienceExperience developing software to defined standards and processesAbility to review system and subsystem specifications and interface documentation for completeness, accuracy, and applicabilityStrong communication skills and must be a self-starter able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environmentMust already have (or be able to obtain) an active Security Clearance to maintain employmentExperience working in an IDEDesired Skills:Experience with distributed simulation, 6-DOF (6 Degrees of Freedom), Motion Models, and/or Flight ModelsExperience with .NET Framework and Visual Studio IDEExperience with web developmentTCP/IP/UDP or other basic network communications experienceExperience working with RedHat Linux or other Unix based operating systemsExperience with popular containerization and orchestration platformsExperience with cloud-based architecturesExperience with some form of Software Configuration Management / DEVOPS platformAbility to obtain (or already have) a Security+ (Plus) Certification
