The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.As an intern on the PMO team you will gain experience to include, but not limited to activities and task listed below:Overall progress and health of projectsStatus of milestones and deliverables across the portfolioFinancial information about the budget, forecast, actuals, margins, etc.Project risks and progress on mitigating these risksOperational efficiency, optimization and project performanceEffective management and utilization of enterprise resourcesCreation of project proposals and reportsAssist with problem solving, overcome project blockers and mitigate risksHow to facilitate collaboration across the business to deliver a market solutionOversee and report key performance indicators (KPIs)Drive ERP transactionsUtilize stakeholder reporting software, create and distribute project reportsBasic QualificationsMust be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in business, computer science, engineering or project management.GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA.Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.Preferred QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-driven and proactiveAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesAbility to communicate effectively at all levelsTeam player and willing to collaborate with others on projectsCOVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employeesRelevant coursework or previous internships preferredCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
