October 15, 2024Job Information:St. Peter's Lutheran Church is seeking a Senior Pastor with theological knowledge and the ability to explain it while preaching the Gospel. Along with strong leadership skills, our pastor would need to coordinate various church programs while working well with our church family and our community. Our average attendance on Sundays is 60, and our current membership is approximately 150. St. Peter's Lutheran Church is located in Waupaca County, Wisconsin. Activities in the area include hunting, fishing, hiking, water sports, cross country skiing, and other outdoor activities, as well as cultural activities located within an hour of the church.Overview of Responsibilities:
To nurture St. Peter's members in the Word of God, helping them grow in faith, hope, and love.Preach regularly, leading services with the help of capable laypeople.Coordinate the day-to-day ministry of the congregation and administration of the church.Manage St. Peter's Ministries including Baptism preparation, Sunday School, First Communion preparation, Confirmation instruction, membership visits, funerals, and weddings.Work with the Board of Trustees to staff the church as deemed necessary.Lead the church to fulfill its mission,
