If you want to make a difference, then Selene is the place for you!Position Summary:The Sr Contested Case Manager actively manages a portfolio of contested foreclosure cases to ensure accurate and efficient handling of matters from filing through resolution.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Manages a portfolio of contested foreclosure cases.Reviews LPS queues for new matters and determines the appropriate department for handling.Handles initial case intake and setup.Reviews attorney budget and fee requests.Responsible for management of cases to resolution through judgment, trial, settlement, or loss mitigation options.Works with other departments, local counsel, and investors to resolve contested foreclosure matters.Responds to discovery requests and motions, including the execution of documents needed to resolve the matter.Conducts and finalizes factual research and analysis of loan issues.Manages assigned attorney and the progression of each assigned case, including the review of case dockets, tracking and managing deadlines and the review and analysis of legal documents.Participates in conference calls and prepares summaries and analysis for attorneys, investors, management, and other departments to provide updates and case information on assigned cases.Participates in settlement negotiations to bring cases to resolution and minimize company risk and investor losses.Escalates issues to management when necessary to ensure quality service.Remote candidates will be considered if residing within 60 miles of one of Selene’s offices. Some time working from the office may be required.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or higher in a business-related field from an accredited four-year college or university required. Two years of related experience and/or training required.Computer Skills:Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS, and Fiserv required.Travel:
