Are you a fantastic disability support worker?

Regular shifts, flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends

$43.67 p/h weekdays after induction, plus salary packaging (pay less tax)

Successful applicants will be able to commit to regular ongoing shifts and be reliable and punctual.

About us

We’re InLife, a not-for-profit disability support provider that specializes in working with people with frequent and complex support needs, including 24/7 assistance.

We build teams around every client, depending on each person’s needs and preferences. We partner with people with any type of disability who want to live independently in the community. That’s why our assistants are so important.

Our clients may have physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, intellectual disabilities, or autism. We’re honored that many of our clients rely solely on InLife for their essential support needs.

To do a great job, you’ll need:

Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to our values.

A bubbly and engaging personality; our clients are highly social and love to have a good chat.

To be comfortable supporting clients with pet care; staff need to be comfortable with dogs and cats.

Experience in mental health - Qualification in mental health preferred but not necessary.

Experience with complex BOC - behaviors of concern.

Experience supporting people with a physical disability, including transfers/use of equipment, and confidence in hoisting.

Great patience and willingness to put in the time and energy to build rapport with clients.

Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives.

Ability to take initiative and encourage clients to work towards their goals.

Access to a car and a driver's license - Comfortable supporting clients in the community.

Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals.
