without need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.What does a great Junior Java Developer do?As a Junior Developer, you will be a valuable technical resource designing and developing enterprise solutions. You will have an opportunity to work effectively on big and complex projects independently, and within a collaborative team-oriented environment. If you’re a self-motivated developer with strong problem solving skills, and proven track record in Java technologies that can help in the design and development, we want to talk to you!What you will do:Design and maintain multiple critical applications.Interact with the product management team in understanding requirements and provide estimates, high level design and detailed design for product and customer enhancements.Develop and support applications in Java, Microservices, RESTful API, Angular, Kotlin.Collaborate with internal teams and product partners to build and deliver world-class software.Complete security scans, and review data encryption processes before deploying software into production environment.Ensure code is well structured, maintainable, and of high quality.What you will need to have:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.1+ years of real world experience using OOP concepts, Java and RESTful APIs.1+ years of experience using Spring framework such as MVC, Boot, Play or equivalent in Microservice Architecture.1+ years of experience using one or more Relational & non-relational NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Redis), SQL and PL/SQL.Well versed in CI/CD concepts and tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, etc.What would be great to have:Angular, Kotlin, Kubernetes.Messaging technologies (Kafka, MQ, JMS) and Cloud Based technologies such as Pivotal, AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalent.Splunk, Bitbucket, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Jira and Confluence.Financial services industry experience.Analytics and performance monitoring.Day-to-day practicalities of Agile software Product Development Lifecycles such as Scrum, SAFe, DAD, Lean Agile, Kanban, etc.Security implementations. i.e. Voltage, Sonatype, WebInspect, Fortify.This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv.What you should know about us:Fiserv is a global fintech leader with 40,000-plus (and growing) associates proudly serving clients in more than 100 countries.
