This position will be out of Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.Position Overview:This position will act as a liaison between operations and multiple teams, including integration, dev, and fielding. Attend leadership meetings, update/present high-level briefs, and perform team lead responsibilities. Must be proficient at tracking tasks and schedules.Successful candidates must be able to technically diagnose, mitigate/troubleshoot issues, and contribute to an on-site team providing 24x7 support to the C2BMC application suites globally dispersed in different time zones. The candidate will lead or participate in system troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance activities, including on-site and telephonic maintenance support. The candidate will serve as a C2BMC application subject matter expert, providing Level 2 troubleshooting, break-fix, and preventative maintenance actions, which involve interaction with remote C2BMC sites and different levels of leadership within the C2BMC Command Center. Candidates must be self-starting problem solvers, capable of planning, coordinating, directing, and controlling their projects, and capable of working with limited supervision and leading troubleshooting efforts to resolution.Essential Functions:Systems administration experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.Proficient in VMware vSphere 6.0 and newer.Experience in Linux application troubleshooting.Highly skilled in System Administration and Application to ensure uptime, performance, resources, and system security are sustained, and anomalies are fixed efficiently.Sound knowledge and practical experience to direct the assessment and development of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Operating Instructions (OIs) to effectively administer, operate, and manage services under C2BMC operational control.Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Basic Qualifications:An active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to start.10 years with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 14 years experience in place of a degree.Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)Preferred Qualifications:May require on-call, evening, and weekend support during system anomalies and tests.Previous experience and sound knowledge of C2BMC Systems or Missile Defense.Scripting on Linux, UNIX, or Windows servers and Windows Workstation.Understanding of Two-Factor Authentication administration.Experienced in IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.What We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.
