What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored training and technical assistance (TTA) plans for granteesProvide comprehensive financial management TTA and resources to ensure compliance with federal grants requirementsReview existing financial management tools and create new resources to enhance grantee capacityFacilitate webinars, conferences, and regional meetings to promote knowledge of federal grants financial managementCollaborate with various stakeholders in the criminal justice, juvenile justice, and victim services fields
What is Required (Qualifications):Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited institutionAt least 6 years of experience in the criminal, juvenile justice, or victim services field with a focus on training and technical assistanceKnowledge of national trends, cultural sensitivity, and effective program implementationU.S. citizenship required by federal government contractAbility to obtain a Public Trust security clearance prior to the start date
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):Experience providing TTA to territories, tribes, or statesFamiliarity with OJP grants financial management requirementsProficiency with technology for virtual meetings and communicationExperience working with federal grantees and a client-service orientation
