These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft. You'll lead a team to conceptualize and design for cutting-edge autonomous aircraft and missile systems throughout the product life-cycle from various subsystem designs to fully integrated systems.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on-time and on (or under) budget deliveries.Must-haves:Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experienceHigher education may substitute for relevant experienceDemonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practicesExperience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teamsThorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principlesThe ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is requiredPreferred:Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry3+ years of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadershipExperience with weapons or missile systemsSenior skill set includes ability to perform all stated/implied duties within this tier and those reasonably derived from preceding tiersEarned Value Management experienceFamiliarity with preparation and development of project estimates, technical proposals, and program cost and schedule managementPast history of developing baseline project definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of integrated trade studies and analysisExperience with CATIA 3DExperienceEstimated Starting Salary Range: $124,771.42 - $171,560.71. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.IMPORTANT NOTICE:This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
