Objective:
Kulshan Veterinary Hospital, a fifteen-doctor (4 LA, 11 SA), team-oriented, AAHA accredited mixed animal practice located in NW Washington, is seeking to hire another mixed large animal veterinarian, with a strong interest in equine. The position we're hiring for would be about 80-90% equine, and the rest being in a supportive role working on other large animal species, including dairy, beef, and small ruminants. A true mixed large animal only practice with a small animal hospital on the same site. LA DRs are only required to see LA patients. Area services include mixed equine clientele, dairy herds, small beef backyard herds, sale barn, small ruminant backyard pets and small flocks, FFA and 4H projects. We have two primarily bovine and SR doctors, and two primarily equine doctors at the moment. We love teaching and frequently have students, and we will provide any mentorship needed to make you feel comfortable with all the LA species. Ideally, you would like to work in an extremely team-oriented atmosphere with a lot of collaboration and support.Training Required:
DVM, availability to obtain licensure in Washington State, Type II USDA Accreditation.Experience Desired:

4 assistants for LA, receptionists, lab tech, clinic manager, HR, private owned company with 3 owners who are all vets that work at the practice.Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
