Full Time PermanentPosition PurposeWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business System Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business processes, gathering and communicating requirements, and implementing software solutions using Agile methodologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a self-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting technical development environment, is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and has a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate project requirement discovery sessions, workshops, and meetings with cross-functional teams.Use expertise to diplomatically share opinions and drive collaboration.Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements and user stories.Analyze current system and process changes needed to realize new business requirements.Create and maintain user stories, use cases, process flow diagrams, and other documentation as needed.Work closely with developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Deliver project requirements from ideation to testing, demo, and post-release support.Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Collaborate with the product owner and development team to prioritize and manage the product backlog.Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that the delivered solutions meet the defined requirements.Proactively identify and communicate project risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.Work closely with developers, project managers, and quality assurance to address project needs, timelines, and dependencies.Ensure adherence to best practices and standards.Position QualificationsBA/BS Degree5+ years proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in an agile environment.Solid knowledge and understanding of Agile principles and methodologies such as Scrum.Experience working with Agile project management tools; Azure DevOps is preferred.Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Familiarity with interfacing testing and production support.Ability to prioritize work with numerous projects running concurrently.Professional written/verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing processes.Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Agile Business Analyst (CABA) are a plus.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentPosition requires working at a desk at the corporate office for periods of time up to eight hours.Hybrid position, Mon – Thu in office, Friday optional remote.
