Manager Microfilm and Digital ServicesPosition Summary
The Clarke Historical Library’s microfilming and digitization unit (MAD) offers a highly regarded set of microfilming and digitization services. Reporting to the Clarke director, the MDS oversees MAD’s production staff and services, working with external customers to ensure accurate production and billing.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.Two years of post-undergraduate work experience.One year of experience supervising full-time or part-time employees.Experience with photographic processes; using SLR or DSLR cameras; graphic design; or similar image-based technical work.Experience developing policies, procedures, workflows, and reports.High-level proficiency with computer hardware and software (e.g., Word, Excel, Photoshop).Experience in successful project management and problem solving.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Customer service experience.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, belonging, accessibility, and anti-racism.Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field.Digital production experience in a library or similar organization.Knowledge of microfilming, digitization, and metadata standards.Duties & Responsibilities
Manage multiple microfilming and digitization projects.Hire, train, and supervise staff.Maintain vendor relationships.Oversee project budgets and expenditures.Communicate effectively with customers.Promote MAD’s services throughout the state.Participate in professional development activities.Employee Group

$60,000 - $65,000Location
