Posting Number: S-3447Position Number: 75430Type of Recruitment: ExternalPosition Title: Manager Microfilm and Digital ServicesPosition Summary: The Clarke Historical Library’s microfilming and digitization unit offers a highly regarded set of microfilming and digitization services. Reporting to the Clarke director, the MDS oversees MAD’s production staff and services, working with external customers and ensuring quality service delivery.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.Three years of post-undergraduate work experience.One year of experience supervising full-time or part-time employees.Experience with photographic processes and graphic design.Demonstrated proficiency with computer hardware and software.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field.Digital production experience in a library or museum.Knowledge of relevant microfilming, digitization, and metadata standards.Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and contribute to multiple microfilming and digitization projects.Hire, train, and supervise a team of staff and student assistants.Foster a professional environment for employees.Communicate effectively with external and internal customers.Develop pricing models and manage budgets.Employee Group
Professional & Administrative - SalaryPay Range
$60,000 - $65,000Location
