Finding the optimum, most cost-effective methods of manufacturing dairy products.Sampling, data collection, and analysis.Creating proposals to reduce operating costs, process capacity constraints, product losses, and product quality variation.Working with Plant controls systems, including PLCs and Wonderware SCADA, medium and low voltage electrical systems.Identification of the causes of waste within one or more manufacturing processes and recommendations for actions to eliminate the waste.Development of standard work processes to implement and sustain identified improvement opportunities.Completion of sophomore year at a college or university and working towards a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Basic knowledge of MS Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.Strong applied technical skills and analytical problem-solving skills.Good oral and written communication skills.Reliable transportation to and from work.Physical Demands & Work Environment

The role has frequent occasions that require prolonged walking or standing, lifting/carrying/handling moderate weight objects on a regular basis. It is required to wear PPE and have a regular presence in manufacturing and warehouse environments in both temperature-controlled and uncontrolled locations. Must frequently interact with people verbally.
