Statsig is looking to add a security engineer to our team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for improving Statsig's Security Posture. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.Responsibilities
Develop software architecture to decrease Statsig's risk of Security IncidentsWriting clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable codeDevelop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancementsCoordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standardsSupport test and deployment of new products and featuresParticipate in code reviewsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)2+ years of experience as a security engineerUnderstanding of common security practices for protecting company assetsAbility to formulate roadmaps and grow a team around securityAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workStatsig is a 5-days-a-week on-site company in Bellevue, WA. You must be able to be onsite.
