We provide construction, service, and integrated controls solutions and are a valued partner to building owners and tenants in the commercial, industrial, and institutional end-market, general contractors, contract managers and energy service companies.We are looking for a versatile IT professional who can oversee the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks while also providing hands-on technical support to ensure optimal functionality. The role involves managing IT operations and maintaining our IT infrastructure to meet business needs effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, excellent technical skills, and a proactive approach to solving IT issues.Responsibilities:Manage information technology and computer systems.Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner.Audit systems and assess their outcomes.Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices routers, printers, etc..Check computer hardware HDD, mice, keyboards, etc. to ensure functionality.Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.Develop and maintain local networks to optimize performance.Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without disrupting others' work.Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedule.Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders.Requirements:At least 3-5 years of proven working experience as a versatile IT professional.Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems, networks, and data governance.Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.Ability to manage personnel and work effectively in a team environment.BS in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or relevant field.Certification as IT Technician e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional will be advantageous.Help desk experience is a plus.Requires approximately 50% daily travel.
