Device, Digital and Alexa Support (D2AS) technology organization is seeking an experienced software development engineer to play a crucial role in building the next generation of Fraud and Abuse prevention systems for Amazon Digital and Device services, including Alexa, Prime Video, Kindle, and Fire TV.In this position, you will:Design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions for Concessions, fraud, and abuse prevention systems and services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust and scalable systems that safeguard Amazon's digital products and services.Utilize your expertise to architect and implement complex software systems that can handle high-volume, real-time data processing.Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in fraud prevention and cybersecurity.Mentor junior team members and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, efficient, and secure code.Key job responsibilities:Solving difficult problems with elegant and practical code.Helping define engineering best practices and providing technical mentorship to other members of the engineering team.Being a champion for the customer and ensuring their needs always come first.Designing and building software for Alexa enabled devices, mobile clients and server systems.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
