Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, overseeing the close process, and preparing financial reports.
This role will also assist with corporate reporting, financial analysis, and implementing best practices to support the company's growth.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with audits, preparing tax schedules, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting.Assist with corporate reporting by compiling, reviewing, and analyzing financial information.Lead the implementation of financial controls and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability.Calculate monthly sales commissions.Provide support during annual audits by preparing audit schedules and documentation.Conduct research and document technical accounting considerations and conclusions.Prepare various tax schedules, filings, annual reports, and licensing documents.Participate in special projects, system enhancements, and ad hoc analyses.Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including data entry in NetSuite and actual vs. budget reporting.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Minimum of 3 years of general ledger (GL) accounting experience.Strong understanding of debits and credits.Experience with large ERP software, preferably NetSuite.Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.Preferred Qualifications:
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
