Summary of PositionKeene State College welcomes applications for a Development Associate to provide administrative support to the Advancement team, including tracking the various budgets associated with the team's activities.

Seeking strong budget tracking experience, strong organizational experience, and a love for the details who thrives in a team environment.

The Development Associate most closely supports the Vice President of Advancement; the Director of Alumni Relations; the Director of Development; and the Donor and Foundation Relations Manager. Support activities include project management; budget support; being the "face" of the Advancement team to incoming inquiries; internal and external event support; meeting scheduling; and, as appropriate, database, gift processing, and event registration support; writing and editing projects; and donor communication and stewardship.

This position also plays an integral role in providing administrative support for the Keene Endowment Association, including developing materials, taking minutes at meetings, scheduling, and following up on action items.

Additional Preferred QualificationsAdministrative support experience at the executive level, preferably in higher education; intermediate to advanced computer skills, knowledge of Raiser's Edge systems and budget management; experience hiring, training and managing students; and experience working with boards a plus. Enter expenses into Razors EdgeCreate and send purchase orders to event vendors/suppliers Submit MROs for grounds / facilities related to event needsSubmit performer contracts for review & approvalSupport Golden Circle / Jazz / MomentumSupport external events, including scheduling the College Camp, Norma Walker Hall, and other duties as assigned

Development Support

Communication Projects
