Meta's People Engineering Team is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise applications. As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role in re-imagining productivity by shipping transformative products that serve Meta's employees and various business groups.
Application Engineer, Salesforce Responsibilities
Technical ownership of projects and managing resourcesWork with product managers to drive strategic value through custom applications built on Salesforce, as well as our internal software stackArchitect highly available, scalable, and secure systemsComply with change management policies to ensure data integrity and system stabilityUnderstand performance metrics for business valueBuild interfaces for complex systems and high-quality toolsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of experience developing business applications in Salesforce, PHP, Java, C++, Python, or similar5+ years of experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs like SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API3+ years of experience in Visualforce/Lightning Web Components/Apex incorporating JS frameworks like React, Bootstrap or AngularPreferred Qualifications
Platform Developer II certificationExperience building on MuleSoftExperience building and supporting production quality softwareExperience owning projects from end-to-endExpertise with data management: structured and unstructured DBs, SQL and RDBMS technologies, SOA design principlesSQL experience in handling volumes of data, performance tuningExperience in understanding code bases, including API design techniquesKnowledge in UI/UX, which can be reflected in your work

$140,000/year to $195,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
