Purpose:
As a licensed electrician, with either your journeyman or master license, you will lead jobs, crews, projects, and apprentice electricians in order to complete electrical work on new construction projects, in both residential and multi-family buildings.
Responsibilities:
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyLeading and empowering individuals within your respective teamOversee quality within your project(s)Manage subcontractors being utilized for the jobInspect, install, modify, repair, and maintain electrical fixtures in gas, water, and drainage systems according to applicable building codesCommunicate with builders, general contractors, and project managersBuild and maintain project schedules to meet deadlinesQualifications:
Must have valid journeyman or masters license from the State Board of Electrical Examiners.Strong work ethicsLeadership skills and the ability to empower individuals on your teamHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Driver's LicenseExcellent communication skills to be used when working with builders, general contractors, and project managersAbility to work 6am to 5pm Monday thru Friday and an occasional SaturdayJourneyman and Master Electricians must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, local city and national electrical codes, practices, and procedures within the electrical field*Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
