What Youll Do:Manages existing client relationships with moderate guidance by processing client requests, resolving client inquiries, and making sure key client information is up to dateSchedules, prepares for, and facilitates presentations. Presentations may include enrollment meetings, financial education meetings, and plan reviews with the committee, etc. as requested by the plan sponsorWorks with Retirement Plan Advisor to provide strategic recommendations & implementation of plan enhancements, including but not limited to vendor selection & conversions, plan design optimization, plan fee benchmarking, compliance oversight, and investment due diligenceDemonstrates knowledge concerning ERISA laws & guidelines for the retirement plan industryDrives client retention by delivering annual plan reviews and initiating proactive client contactPromotes new products and services to plan sponsorsEngages in available training and educational opportunities to stay current on the industry trends as well as internal policies and proceduresSupports and demonstrates IMAs core valuesValues and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associatesYou Should Have::
Bachelor's degree required7+ years related experience in the retirement plan industry requiredLife Insurance and Variable Contracts licenses (required for group annuity products), required to obtain within 30-90 days of hire, unless already licensedAttains and maintains FINRA Series 7 & 66 (S63 & S65 acceptable as well) strongly preferredAIF designation is preferredLimited travel required (less than 25%)Intermediate MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)This Job Description is not a complete statement of all duties and responsibilities comprising this position.
