As an Electrical Engineer at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of engineering professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. What You Will Be Doing As an Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: -Working within a team of Electrical Engineers to evaluate electrical/electronic production failures and determine the appropriate root cause and corrective actions. -Hands-On troubleshooting using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment. -Understanding and interpreting schematics and performance requirements related to the GMLRS rocket system and subsystems.-Creation of technical documentation describing test failures and troubleshooting procedures that comply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures.-Provide technical data and evaluation for components, equipment, and systems consistent with engineering plans and contract requirements.It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS). Telecommuting opportunities can vary depending on daily tasking. Learn more here: Global DEI.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.- Experience in electrical hardware design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry.- Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit cards assemblies (CCA).- Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware.- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).- Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality.- Ability to travel approx. 20% of time domestically.Desired skills- Experience working technical proposals.Candidate will need to be able to obtain MRBE status with the appropriate training/mentoring. - Experience working failure investigation, root cause and corrective action.- Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during technical issue investigation- Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting.- Experience working non-conformance disposition of hardware for production.EEOLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.National Pay StatementPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
