Few fabricators can match our unique blend of 50 years of experience, reputation for innovation, skill of our team, expertise of our engineers, adherence to quality certifications, and commitment to client success..Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Implement quality management system (QMS) into all departments and ensure its ongoing efficiency.Monitors each department to ensure the adherence to the latest ISO 9001 requirements.Complete quality test with first piece, in process, and final inspection all parts produced.Certify parts are manufactured correctly and provide certificates of compliance.Create AS9102 FAI Packets on first run of parts and upon customer request.Create and implement corrective actions to address any issues with non-conforming parts.Calibrate all inspection equipment and assure they are in proper working condition.Meet once a week with production supervisor, inside sales and purchasing manager to discuss most prevalent quality issues.Assists in leading the advanced quality planning activity and develops the necessary documents for new products including FMEA, CP, Inspection Layouts/Procedures, and others, as required for PPAP and FAI submissions.Responsible for the issuing and qualification of all RMA'S, identifying root cause and the planning and implementation of corrective action measures.Responsible for the discrepancy reporting system; monthly scrap / losses and quarterly QA meeting.Responsible for customer, supplier and internal audits.Direct liaison for customer and supplier quality issues.Develop continuous improvement through employee training.Assist in the qualification of new suppliers.Reports to the President.Requirements Must be able to read engineering blueprints and have an excellent understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.Ability and experience with structural part dimensional inspection techniques with all types of hand tools including Mics, Calipers, Pin Gages, etc.Experience with open setups on Surface Plates, using Height Gages, Indicators, etc.Experience with, and worked within, an ISO 9001:2015 approved Quality Management System.Ability to prepare, complete and present First Article Inspection documents to our customers in an AS 9102 format.Ability to conduct thorough root cause investigations and corrective action reportsCMM programming and inspection experience is a major asset.Ability to work with and interrogate computer-generated models.Be able to initiate processes that collect manufacturing data, collate, analyze and present this data.Must be comfortable presenting to and working with customer Quality representatives.Strong organizational and communication skills.Bachelor's degree in a science, mathematics, engineering or other technology field or equivalent work experience is required. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in quality control or quality assuranceASQ and/or Six Sigma certifications desiredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, Power Point, Outlook)US Citizen
