Akerman is seeking a User Support Technician for its National Information Technology Department. This position will provide front-line remote support and guidance to end-users on the firm's computer and telephone systems.

Responsibilities include:

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for firm users in all offices via remote supportMonitor support queues, identify trends in malfunctions and errorsAssist with testing and rolling out new software, including Microsoft Office 365Qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceStrong verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skillsExcellent computer and software troubleshooting abilities

This position works in a fast-paced, team environment and requires exceptional customer service and the capacity to work independently while managing time and tasks productively. The hours for this role are 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.,

with flexibility for after-hours support in the evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Qualified candidates MUST possess strong IT skills with a focus on Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, and LAN technology. Proficiency with printers, smartphones, tablets, and general software application support is also required. Prior experience in a large law firm setting is a plus.
