Front End UI Developer

NEEDS:3-6 years of experience with Java/Javascript & SQL & AngularAdditional Details:Implementing Capacity knowledge management system, cloud tool with UI; moving from SharePoint knowledge library that the agents access to Capacity.Knowledge base of approx. 4k documentsNeed to transform the lifecycle management of the knowledge management system, tagging, metadata, classifications for the repositoryAudits conducted on the knowledge management to ensure up to date informationInitiative will support the knowledge management team and the customer service team (agents)UI/Front-End Developer will collaborate with development teams to understand the needs of the look/feel of new applications within knowledge management system. UI/Front-End Developer will be responsible for application development, interfacing with business teams and hands-on coding. This person will work with various teams within the company to implement forms, automated workflows effectively and efficiently.Day to Day:Hands-on front end development with Angular and JavaScript, as well as other technologiesAnalyze, design, modify, build, and deploy applicationsTranslate and document business problems and/or user stories to functional applicationsEnsures projects are completed within committed time and budgetCreate detail design artifacts and technical documentationParticipates in design reviewsMaintain code qualityAssist in post implementation support and system enhancementsDefines system content, structure, and flowsRequirements:1-2+ years of experience with hands-on front end UI developmentGoing to be onsite 3 days a weekDesign web applications using HTML5, XML, XHTML, DOM, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Angular (10+) Bootstrap, JQuery, JSONFamiliarity with RESTful API into UI screensExperience with Cross Browser Compatibility issues and Optimization for web, including CSS sprites and best practicesExperience in Angular for creating interactive UI's using One-way data flow, Virtual DOM, JSX, React Native conceptsKnowledge in complying WebPages depending up on Web Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (W3CAG)Experience with CSS Background, CSS Layouts, CSS positioning, CSS text, CSS border, CSS margin, CSS padding, CSS table, Pseudo classes, Pseudo elements and CSS behaviors in CSS.Ability to engage with senior management for User Interface development /Design functionsExperience using GIT, SVN, VSS, and TFS versioning systemsUnderstanding of deployment stages like Dev, Test, UAT, and Prod with overall business goals and industry standardsFamiliar with Oracle, SQL ServerDebugging and troubleshooting existing codeExperience writing test cases and test suites using Mockito, Junit and GunitExperience with Text-Editors like Eclipse, Komodo Edit, Sublime Text, and Notepad++Self-starter, Team Player, must want to learn and expand experienceFamiliar with Agile software development methodologySelf-starter with excellent analytical and project management skillsStrong communication skills both written and verbalDexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
