As a Solid WasteEngineering Project Manager, you will be involved in:

The design, analyses, permitting and preparation of drawings and technical specifications and construction period services for solid waste management facilities, including coal combustion residual (CCR) facilities, and industrial facilities.General civil/environmental engineering dutiesDesign of all aspects of landfills:Double composite liner systemsLeachate conveyance and storage facilitiesStormwater conveyance and storage facilitiesLandfill gas collection/treatment systemsOn-site roadways, and ancillary buildings and structuresDevelop permit application documents, contract drawings, specifications and estimates for landfills, transfer stations, landfill gas to energy facilities, and recycling facilitiesPreparation of engineering design reports, feasibility studies, and solid waste management plansReview of projects for compliance with plans/specificationsStrong client and project management skills:Good communication, leadership, planning and mentoring skills required;Proficiency with Microsoft Office.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.Solid Waste Engineer/Project Manager Level: Solid waste experience is a must; candidatesable to drive to a local office, will relocate 'elite' candidates only, Works with Geo Tech & Civil, bonus 10-20% to start year 1 (20%-30% with merit), customer-facing position. This position is for an experienced candidate who is working directly on landfill compliance, remediation, permitting, or site design.

10-15+ years experience working directly on site design, remediation, permitting, document preparation and CQA of waste disposal facilities;Ability to coordinate the regulatory agency review process;B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering (M.S. a plus);Professional Engineering (P.E.) Licensure;Understanding of business principles of consulting projects and related project delivery tools.
