Our client is a facility management company, and they are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their team to drive productivity amongst employees and provide guidance to senior leadership. This person will be responsible for new hire onboarding, compliance, goal setting, recruiter management, and ensuring accurate reporting and metric data.
Responsibilities:Guide new employees through the onboarding process, including orientation, paperwork completion, and introductions to company policiesEnsure all mandatory legal and tax forms are accurately filled out, including:Form W-4: Determines federal income tax withholdingForm I-9: Verifies eligibility for employment and legal authorization to work in the United StatesStay informed about federal and state labor laws by participating in HR networks (e.g., SHRM) and consulting legal counselMaintain meticulous records of completed paperwork to avoid penalties and ensure complianceFamiliarize new hires with the organization's culture, policies, and structureCollaborate with managers and new employees to establish clear performance goalsMonitor progress and provide necessary support during the initial stagesCoordinate with recruiters to ensure a seamless transition from recruitment to onboardingShare insights on candidate experiences and areas for improvementTrack onboarding completion rates, time-to-productivity, and employee satisfactionGenerate reports for HR and leadership to assess the effectiveness of the processQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldStrong understanding of labor laws and compliance requirementsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
