Sr. Accountant
on behalf of our client, an amazing school in
Los Angeles
that supports students by providing an inclusive environment with innovative teaching. This is a contract, on-site opportunity available for immediate hire!
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operational accounting, including accounts payable and accounts receivableManage and reconcile general ledger transactionsPerform monthly, quarterly, and annual closingsComplete account and bank reconciliationsEnsure timely and accurate processing of financial transactionsCollaborate with internal teams to support financial goals and initiativesProvide accurate financial reporting to stakeholders
Qualifications:
Proven experience in accounting, preferably in an educational or nonprofit environmentStrong understanding of GAAPProficiency in QuickBooks is requiredIndependent, self-motivated, and able to work with limited supervisionStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAdaptable, quick learner with the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting
Compensation:This position offers an hourly rate of $40, along with a monthly technology stipend. Eligible employees working an average of 30 or more hours per week can access benefits including medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits. A retirement plan is also available.
