Ensure safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned route. Operate school bus that transports students and other authorized personnel to and from schools or other designated location.Qualifications:
Education/Certification:Valid Texas commercial driver's license (Class B)Special Knowledge/Skills:
Must be 18 years of ageAbility to pass alcohol and drug testAbility to complete required bus driver safety trainingAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to communicate effectivelyKnowledge of student discipline procedureAbility to manage student behaviorAbility to operate busExperience:
Not required, but preferredMajor Responsibilities and Duties:Vehicle OperationStudent ManagementSafetyOther requirements included, but not limited to: irregular hours as needed, two-way radio communication, attendance of required training for safety certification and recordkeepingSupervisory Responsibilities:
