The program requests authorization to provide services up to 20 hours a week. The needs of each participant guide the length and intensity of the programservices they receive. The TBS coach designs, structures, models, and supports one-to-one interventions to modify target behaviors of concern or teach appropriate alternative behaviors, so that children and their family members or caregivers can live independently.To sustain participants improvements after TBS concludes, staff develops transition plans to help each child and their caregivers.We are currently seeking: TBS Worker - Therapeutic Behavioral ServicesWhat You Will Do:The TBS Worker is responsible for providing individualized 1:1 behavioral and therapeutic interventions to participants in their home environment, school, or other setting toward the goal of stabilization. The TBS Worker provides services as an adjunct to specialty mental health services in order to prevent higher level of care (including psychiatric hospitalization) or to transition to a lower level of care.Shifts AvailableOn-Call - Hourly; Mon-Fri/hours TBDSalary RangeIn accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is between $24.81 and $31.66 per hour. Company provides $2500 for individual and $5000 for family (annually), towards co-pays.2024-2025 Benefits GuideCompany provides $2500 for individual and $5000 for family (annually), towards co-pays.2024-2025 Benefits GuideWhat You Bring to The Table (requirements):RequiredB.A. Degree and one (1) year experience working with youth.Experience with or knowledge of designing, supervising, monitoring, changing, and discontinuing individualized behavioral interventions.Demonstrated ability to assess, triage and organize work.Demonstrated knowledge of the developmental stages of youth and young adults.Demonstrated knowledge of risk assessment, including danger to self or others, and effective community-based interventions for those with high risk.Demonstrated ability to utilize de-escalation techniques that align with the trauma-informed care model as part of the intervention strategy for working with participants in crisis who are responding to triggers/stressors and/or demonstrating early indicators of distress.Demonstrated ability of cultural responsiveness in working with diverse families andClean driving record: current CA Drivers License or ability to obtain within 10 days after hired.Must have access to dependable transportation; personal car insurance meeting minimum liability coverage required if position requires driving for work or transporting participants.Basic computer and keyboarding competence with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and/or competency with electronic clinical documentationPreferredOne (1) year experience with program target population (Example: intellectually disabled, homeless, teens or young adults with a mental health disabilityOne (1) year experience with behavioral work.Applies a strength-based, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and flexible approach to supervision, participant and community service, in order to support participant recovery, health, and wellness.Familiarity, training, certification, or experience with recovery-model orientation, public mental health and child welfare systems.Exhibits strong behavioral and crisis management.Fluency in prevailing language(s) of the community.
