Position Title: Wealth Advisor IIILocation: 1333 West Loop South, Ste 1500, Houston, TX 77027Eligibility for Remote: NoGrade: CommissionJob Posting:What The Role IsA Linscomb Wealth, Wealth Advisor III has a well-established and highly sustainable client book of business. They have a proven ability to consistently fulfill the duties and responsibilities of an Linscomb Wealth, Wealth Advisor, and they have done so over a long period of time. A WA III's primary focus is likely more allocated to ongoing, proactive client engagement, through business development and organic book growth is likely a component given the well-established nature of their client book. WA III's will serve in both a primary and secondary Wealth Advisor capacity, though typically they will serve most frequently as primary. WA III's operate consistently with a high degree of autonomy within the firm and team construct. WA III's are encouraged to continue developing their skill set, though they may also spend time mentoring and training newer and future wealth advisors.How You will Make an ImpactProvides strategic and tactical leadership for the Linscomb Wealth client relationships they serve.Works closely with clients and prospective clients of the firm to identify, refine and update key goals and objectives.Help lead the development and implementation of a client's holistic and personalized plan, including portfolio allocation and the client's overall wealth planning needs.Outline and refine a prioritized action plan for achieving client key goals and objectives. Update client action plans as needed, reviewing with clients at least annually.Routinely engage with clients in a proactive manner, utilizing the firm's CRM and other software/systems to develop a routine process for tracking client communication, engagement, and specific advice related matters.Engage proactively with clients, reaching out on specifically tasked items related to their portfolio or overall plan, as well as to simply connect more personally, building trust and a broader relationship with clients over time.Remain "on call" and proactively poised to respond to client questions, concerns, and other servicing needs.Potentially work with newer or future Linscomb Wealth Wealth Advisors to help them further develop their overall skill set and experience.Actively coordinate with all Linscomb Wealth internal teams (Investment, Wealth Planning, Operations, Trading, Client Service) to implement client portfolio solutions, planning needs, and ongoing client servicing needs.Collaborate with client's other professionals, such as CPA, estate attorney, insurance agents, and banker, "quarterbacking" the overall engagement and implementation of a client's holistic plan.Work to identify and pursue share of wallet opportunities with existing clients, including development of ongoing savings plans where applicable.Achieve a high level of client retention in line with the firm's long-run history of low client turnover.
Who You AreBachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in Financial Planning, Wealth Management, Finance, Accounting, or another business-related degree.A minimum of 15-20 years related professional work experienceStable work history and demonstration of consistent, high-level performanceCFP or similar, well-recognized industry designationTeam engagement and buy-inStrategic and tactical leadership with clientsProactive client engagement and outreachConsistency with firm policy and best practiceBook revenue and AUM growth to support WA I book developmentClient retention rateProactive and strong work ethicAbility to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlinesProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to work well in a team environmentProficient with Microsoft Office and other firm software/systemsStrong writing and presenting skillsMentorship and training for newer and future wealth advisorsOngoing development of technical skill set and soft skillsThis job has no supervisory responsibilities
