ExemptSummaryAssociate Wealth Advisors are advancing in the Wealth Advisor career path. They are active members of the Wealth Advisory team, further developing their expertise and skills necessary to begin building their book. Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Client ResponsibilitiesDraft, deliver financial plans, answer questions, follow-up, and ensure action items are completed accurately and promptlyImplement financial plans and recommendations working within the Wealth Advisory teamEnsure timely client communicationsDevelop client relationships and begin to build book of business
Team ResponsibilitiesSupport Wealth Advisors and team as necessaryGuide quality and timeliness of other Wealth AssociatesLead various projects for Wealth Advisory teamSupport succession goals of Wealth Advisory teamAssist with research and creation of educational and training materialsAssist Wealth Advisory team with client onboarding and servicing
Firm ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and support the firm's vision, mission, and strategyParticipate in various strategic firm projects and initiativesParticipate in the Wealth Advisor Residency ProgramParticipate in committee and/or working group
Degrees and DesignationsBachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, with a degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or other business-related degreeCFP certificationAdditional certifications and/or educational opportunities encouraged
Experience RequirementProfessional work experience required (4-7 years)Completion of the CFP designation, including work experienceSatisfy all responsibilities and requirements of Senior Wealth Associate role
Performance MeasuresMastery of technical, communication, and presentation skillsExpertise in wealth planning, technology, software, etc.Years of experience and number of clients servicedTypical time in this position is 2-4 years
